I've finally completed the www.banggood.com purchased HG P402 kit. And broken it equally as quickly. I think that the reviews on You Tube are slightly biased towards how good it is, but a full review will be coming soon on the site, and on You Tube.
It has now got 4 wheel steering which I'll show as the turning circle is quite frankly terrible without it.
The original shocks are now also replaced with some Absima ones which make a huge improvement, running with a Crawler ESC and with the two speed transmission servo also fitted.
If only it didn't strip the front gear box every time you tried to climb over something..
Moving onto rail related ....
My Accucraft Excelsior is now finally back in fully working order. The last issue to fix was a blocked steam pipe which is now sorted and after the last strip down and clean she is back to nearly full power, I'm just waiting for the cylinder 'O' rings to bed in a bit (I've replaced the original Accucraft cylinders with the SM32 cylinders which are no longer available and they use Roundhouse 'O' rings in the cylinders.
She now has a different blow down assembly after the old banjo bolt crumbled away in the boiler I had a new tapping made which now has a globe valve fitted so you can blow down easily without using the hex tool, and the valve fits nicely into the cab, You can see the new assembly in the picture..
Finally the 'N; gauge micro layout has had the track laid and wired up, I'm now in the process of making a suitable control panel and working out how to make a suitable moving fiddle yard using a single drawer runner. That'll be interesting...
